Gigi Hadid stole the spotlight at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch in New York City on Tuesday. The 20-year-old model slayed in a striking, see-through black bodysuit by Julien Macdonald.
The skintight, barely there ensemble showed off Hadid's slim figure and black panties underneath. She paired the look with Kurt Geiger heels.
The model is currently featured in the buff on the cover of French Vogue. She is perched on a box with her legs crossed and arm across her chest to cover her bits and pieces.
Some criticized the black and white shot, but her mother, Yolanda Foster, came to her daughter's defense, writing on Twitter: "Social judgement can break down a young woman temporarily but a real WOMAN will always pick up the pieces, rebuild herself and come back stronger than ever.......... So proud of you my love for owning your authenticity on the cover of FRENCH VOGUE with class and grace."
Hadid is currently dating former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.
