kanye West was reportedly so upset prior to his appearance on "Saturday Night Live" that he almost pulled out of the live show thirty minutes prior to his performance!
The show had a near-miss of a musical act on their hands when West had a meltdown, according to Page Six.
"He was rightfully upset as they dismantled half his staging 30 minutes prior to showtime," says a source close to the star to the newspaper.
"I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication or what. It was smoothed over and the show went on as planned," they revealed.
The newspaper reported that West's wife, Kim Kardashian, had to talk him through his issues.

Another source stated of the situation to Page Six, “He freaked out about how the set was arranged. He was saying he’s ‘the greatest artist.’ He’s having regular meltdowns. Everyone’s walking on eggshells around him. He’s under a lot of stress between the new album and the fashion line.”
Show producer Lorne Michaels also had to talk to West about the ramifications of pulling out of the performance.
After so many years on the air, the producer knew just what to do to soothe the rapper and artist's ruffled feathers.
Michaels was reported to be "eerily calm” through the incident. “I guess after 41 years of doing this, he’s used to it," said the source to the newspaper.
Other staffers prepared for the worst case scenario, that West would pull out last minute.
“They were like, ‘If this happens, and he walks, what are we going to do?’” the source questioned.
West recently released his "Life of Pablo" album on the streaming service Tidal.
Just days later, the rapper claimed to be $53 billion in personal debt in a Twitter post.
He then asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for funds.
West later posted that he is financially sound, but wants to raise money to fund future endeavors.
