People Criticize Bible Verses Thinking They’re From Quran

With Islamaphobia on the rise, a pair of YouTube hosts from the Netherlands decided to conduct thought-provoking social experiment with a Bible, a Quran and random people included. The duo called Dit Is Normaal simply wrapped a Bible in a Quran cover, read out several controversial verses from the book to the people on the streets, asking for their thoughts and reactions. And the results were unbelievable! After reading several passages such as “If you reject my commands and abhor my laws you will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters,” “I do not allow for a woman to teach. You will have to cut off her hand” and “If two men sleep with each other they will both have to be killed”, the majority of respondents began to criticize the Quran, while describing the Bible as far more peaceful and positive.
“Cutting off people’s hands… I mean, apparently that’s just the way they are. If you’ve been raised with this book and these kinds of thoughts it’s going to influence the way you think,” the woman said. “The world is changing and I think they should have to adapt to it,” another interviewed woman responded. “If you’ve been raised with this book and these kind of thoughts it’s going to influence the way you think,” a young man added. “To me this sounds like they want to oppress you and force you to believe what they believe,” a visibly shocked woman said.

The experiment was designated to put Christianity under the same scrutiny Islam and its adherents have received since the Paris terror attacks and constant ISIS attacks around the world. It has been viewed more than 4,7  million times since being posted on Youtube.Read
